Seaweed soup

My favorite food among Korean food is seaweed soup. It is a kind of korean soup and all koreans eat the soup on their birthday. As we know, seaweeds have a lot of iron content so korean women eat the soup after giving birth to their babies. There are two recipes to make the soup. If you like pork, you can make a seaweed soup with pork.And if you like seafood, you can make a seaweed soup with seafood like clams.If you do not like oily food, I recommend the soup with seafood.The two kinds of seaweed soup are very famous and usual in Korea. The smell of the soup is very aromatic due to the sesame oil. And the taste is flavorful but mushy. I hope you eat the soup on your birthday.

I am exhausted especially today. Yesterday night, I wrote my resume to prepare for my application for another job. So I slept at 1:00 a.m. and woke up at 6:00 a.m. I went to work like any ordinary days. However, today, there were lots of work to  do. I had to work late to finish all of them. I realized that to avoid this kind of hassle, I should improve my time management skill.

BoHwa

I am working at Dongnam Marine Co., Ltd. as marketing dept. officer. I am in charge of spare parts and sales overseas. Therefore, I use english to accomplish my tasks at work. So I 'm continually studying english to improve my own english skills and to avoid misunderstanding with my clients. I have offered services for the clients of my company. 100 million won of sales of spare parts is a proof that I truly worked hard. However, I would like to work in academe and impart real knowledge and morals and giving hope for students who have dreams. On sundays, I teach a bible at our church and communicating with young christians. However, it is not enough. If I will be given a chance to work the academe, I will go to work earlier than other workers. I'll also consider how to solve my task wisely. I will never stop improving myself. And I will be more passionate in helping kids build their dreams. Someday, I would like to become an important person in Busan International Foreign School.

-Dream come true-

A short Philippine trip had an effect on making a decision for my future life. I feel funny about English but I dream to work using English in my future job. Also, I have a vision of giving poor children a chance to study at school someday. During the trip, I met a lot of children who were begging on the street due to poverty. They didn’t have a chance to learn at school. At that time, I was really ashamed of myself because I used to compare myself with people who I think were better than me. But when I looked at the poor kids, I felt sorry. When I came back to Korea, I could not forget them and my plan to help those children get back their dream and live with tomorrow’s hope. In my opinion, the most important thing in the life is dreaming. Our hope for a brighter tomorrow will be a source of power to endure present hardship. And I think that learning is fundamental to dream something. I have sent a small scholarship donation for a Filipino child who cannot go to school due to poverty so she can learn at school for free through my Filipino friend. However, I think that my vision will be nothing but a window dressing if I do not have any experience and understanding about school administration. So, I have thought of a way to achieve my vision. I decided that I apply for Busan International Foreign School as administrator to realize my vision and make the kids’ dreams come true in the future.

-A distracted child becomes a dependable young-

My father always starts every day earlier than other people to attend to our family’s needs. So, I tried not to be late or absent in my classes when I was a student. I accomplished tasks and projects earlier and far ahead the deadline. Hence, I got a view of the far future withstanding the difficulties in trying to be responsible at a young age. When I was young, I was a mischievous. In my late elementary life, I began hanging out with friends and disregarded studying at night. I lost focus. So my mother introduced me to playing the flute. I started learning playing the flute to improve my concentration. By playing the flute, I experienced playing for a classical music concert as one of the teenager orchestra members and I realized that it is important to listen to other people’s opinions and to make a harmony with them. Until now, playing the flute is my hobby to reduce stress from my ordinary days and to enjoy my rest alone. I have also met various people when I worked at a department store and at a restaurant besides my university club activities. At the same time, I earned money for my daily allowance. More than 2 years ago until now, I have been working in my first company and have never been late in the morning. I accomplish my tasks well and long before the deadline because I know I am in charge of myself now and my parents have long done their duty in teaching me. I realized the value of money and I feel a sense of achievement with my perseverance. Therefore, I can say that I am now a dependable young.
